Professional Floral Design Workshop
Learn event floristry from practitioners who've designed for everything from intimate dinners to large corporate gatherings across Baku.

What You'll Actually Learn
We skip the fluff. Each module focuses on skills you'll use immediately, taught through projects that mirror what clients actually request.
Design Foundations
Color theory that works in real lighting conditions. Texture combinations that photograph well. How to build arrangements that stay fresh through 8-hour events. We cover flower handling, stem preparation, and water source management for mobile setups.
Client Consultations
What to ask during initial meetings. How to translate vague requests into workable designs. Managing expectations around seasonality and budget. Practice sessions include mock consultations with feedback on communication approach and proposal writing.
Event Execution
Transport logistics for delicate arrangements. On-site setup timelines. Managing last-minute changes when a venue layout shifts. Problem-solving when weather affects outdoor events. You'll assist with two real events during this module to see these challenges firsthand.
Business Operations
Pricing your work accurately (materials, time, transport, setup). Building relationships with flower suppliers in Baku. Marketing basics that don't require big budgets. Managing your calendar around event seasons. Insurance and contract essentials for freelance work.

Galina Antonescu
Lead Instructor
Been doing event floristry in Baku since 2018. Started with corporate conferences, gradually moved into private celebrations. I've made mistakes with timing, learned hard lessons about flower sourcing in summer heat, and figured out which shortcuts work and which don't. Now I share what actually helps.

Tomas Berglund
Guest Instructor - Business Module
Handles the business side of things. Ran a floral design service in Stockholm before moving here in 2021. My background is actually in operations management, which turned out useful when building a service business from scratch. I teach the parts that aren't creative but still matter.

Ramina Veliyeva
Technical Specialist
My specialty is making things work in difficult conditions. Outdoor events in wind, indoor venues with challenging layouts, last-minute venue changes. I focus on the practical side during event execution modules, showing you how to adapt when plans shift.
Upcoming Cohorts
We run two cohorts annually. Class size stays small so everyone gets direct instruction time and individual feedback throughout the program.
Applications reviewed on rolling basis. We schedule a brief conversation before confirming enrollment to make sure the program matches your goals.
